Karen Reissmann Campaign Statement
Karen Reissmann is a community psychiatric nurse, based at the North Manchester General Hospital, who was sacked for bringing the Manchester Mental Health Trust into disrepute. Her crime - doing her job as a trade unionist and organising opposition to cuts in jobs and services and speaking out about the transfer of NHS services to the voluntary sector.
