After a successful launch meeting in January, the Housing Association Workers and Residents Network has scheduled a second meeting to agree our first joint action to fight the commercialisation of HAs.

The network was set up at the end of 2016 and aims to improve the lives of workers, residents and service users, resisting the increasing commercialisation of housing associations. We also want to end the exploitation of their workers To this end, we have agreed to create an umbrella body of workers and residents through which to share experience and resources, and create cross-provider campaigns. At a local level, we will facilitate provider-specific networks to develop targeted campaigns.

Please share the flyer as widely as possible (via the Download link). A Facebook event has been created here and will help us monitor numbers. The meeting is open to all HA workers, residents and service users - you do not need to be a member of Unite.
