Immediate issue for housing workers

Following the referendum debate there the issue of racism has risen in the political agenda. For housing workers this can be an immediate issue for our work as the recent controversy around homeless outreach teams and forced deportation shows - see here.  The branch has taken a clear stand which was confirmed in a resolution passed at our branch meeting this week.  Following a discussion we also passed this resolution on the tasks faced post brexit.  All members are welcome to attend our monthly branch meetings as well as meeting in their workplaces.
