Branch Secretary :

Unite @ Centrepoint Pay Survey Now Open!

Unite @ Centrepoint has launched a survey of members to consult on the latest offer from the executive, and find out whether members will agree to strike action if the organisation doesn't improve on its offer.

Centrepoint’s own figures show that their income was £32.7m last year but their spending was £31.65 leaving a difference of over £1m. Spending on executive pay rose just under 6.5%, but they are offering staff just 2.5%. Inflation (RPI) is at 3%, so the offer represents a real-terms pay cut. Unite is therefore demanding 5% (see here for our previous article).

Members can complete the Survey here. Closing date is Friday 31st May.

The survey is completely anonymous and the results will be announced to members on Friday 31st May. They will also be reported to management at the next pay negotiation meeting.
