Greenwich Unite Speaker - Fighting Bullying and Harassment
Many members will be all too familiar with workplace bullying and harassment, and the difficulties of getting employers to address the issue. In Greenwich, a group of Occupational Therapists have decided that enough is enough and, together with their Unite branch, have made a stand to end the bullying. To support the Greenwich Occupational Therapists:
Support the strike action - 11th and 12th June. Pickets from 7am to 10am at the Woolwich Centre, Wellington St, Woolwich, SE18.
Lobby the Council AGM - 11th June - 5.30 pm, Greenwich Town Hall, Wellington St, Woolwich SE18.
Come and hear Danny Hogan, Greenwich Unite Branch Secretary, speak at the Unite Housing Workers branch meeting:
Tuesday 10th June, 6pm, 3 Unite HQ, 128 Theobalds Road, Holborn WC1X 8TN.
Danny will talk about how his branch has supported the Occupational Therapists to mount a campaign and strike action, and fight back against workplace bullies. All members are welcome to attend the branch meetings. Travel and carer expenses can be paid where appropriate. Contact the Branch Treasurer to claim.
