
Unite reps training: Equalities and Covid + Environmental reps
The pandemic has cut acrosss normal training for reps. Here are two opportunities available over the summer.
Following the election of a branch Ebvironment officer, Roderick Cobley, at our last AGM, the branch now has a number of reps putting themselves forward to be Environmental reps.
Unite Environmental Reps can apply for a 3 day course which covers environmental definitions, standards and legislation, environmental impact mapping and handling environmental issues. For information on this course and others organised by the region see here.
Unite Reps can still apply for a Covid-19 Equality Impact Assessment workshop.
Course topics include:
?Conducting an equality impact assessment Covid-19 and women.
?The disproportionate impact of Covid-19 on BAEM people.
?Disabled workers – independent living & underlying conditions/reasonable adjustments LGBT+ workers - the impact of lockdown.
?Action plans for EIA’s in the workplace.
