United We Organise: Open Event

You are invited to our open event for all housing association and co-op residents on Thursday 14th June, 6pm - 8pm, Unite HQ, 128 Theobalds Road, London WC1X 8TN.

United We Organise will launch a unique and powerful vehicle for residents to oppose the trend toward increasingly centralised, remote and commercialised landlords.

On the first anniversary of the Grenfell fire, we will start with a minute's silence to honour the victims, and in the light of continued disregard for tenants and residents's concerns, we will consider how to weave safety and welfare into a primary campaign.

The group will be established with a committee of activists to develop the campaign. Under the auspices of the union, campaigners will have access to excellent practical and organising resources. And liaison with the pan-London Unite Housing Workers branch will provide opportunities to work on joint industrial-community campaigns.

If you live in a housing association or co-op property, please join us at the meeting and help us realise our plans.
